5 Hr Sightseeing & Lunch Encounter
Departing From The Sanibel Marina on Sanibel, Island FL
Start the day with dolphins, end with lunch at Cabbage Key!
The 5 hour Dolphin and Lunch Encounter for up to 6 people, is an excellent way to get on the water to see dolphins AND visit historic Cabbage Key! Only accessible by boat, Cabbage Key is rumored to be the inspiration for Jimmy Buffett’s song, “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” A local favorite for not only great food and music, it is also home to a water tower you can climb, nature trails to stroll along, and quite a few friendly gopher tortoises, a threatened species. This Encounter has it all, without getting wet! We’ll cruise around some local barrier islands while we keep our eyes peeled for playful dolphins and other wildlife including manatees, birds and eagle rays! Captain April will also provide interesting details and fun facts along the way. You will not need to enter the water for this encounter, check out the FAQs for additional information. All Encounters have a maximum capacity of 6 people. (Lunch purchase is not included in the price of this trip, check out the Cabbage Key menu below.)
Long sleeve jacket or sweatshirt (really? Yes, really!! I know it is Florida, but it can be chilly on the water in the AM)
Sunscreen (lotion or stick preferred, aerosol or spray sunscreen cannot be used on the boat)
Hat/Sunglasses
Beverages and snacks (water, ice and cooler are provided)
