4 Hr Shelling & Beach Encounter
Departing From The Sanibel Marina on Sanibel Island, FL
Comb the beach on a secluded island and fill your shelling bag
Up to 6 people can spend a half day on the water with Captain April and encounter a barrier island north of Captiva that is only accessible by boat. Depending on the weather and wind conditions, we will head to the pristine beaches of either North Captiva or Cayo Costa, where you can scour both sand and surf for beautiful seashells! Empty shells can be taken home as a souvenir for yourself or as a gift for a loved one to enjoy (no live shelling.) This Encounter will give you a little more than 2 full hours on the beach before you need to climb back on the boat and head in. Hopefully we’ll spot some playful dolphins along the way, while we listen to music of your choice. A great way to spend a morning or afternoon around Southwest Florida’s barrier islands! You will need to enter the water on this encounter so come prepared and check our FAQs for additional information. All Encounters have a maximum capacity of 6 people.
