3 Hr Interactive Marine Life Encounter

Departing From The Sanibel Marina on Sanibel, Island FL

Interactive, personalized, and Up-close Encounter with SWFL’s Marine Species!

What will we see on this encounter? It’s different every time! On this 3 Hr Encounter, we head to an uninhabited island in Pine Island Sound where we get off the boat and explore the shallows. Captain April will show you how to carefully cast net or dip net for various marine animals that live in our estuary, which could include fish, crabs, seahorses, sea stars, shrimp or maybe we encounter something more elusive, you never know! As soon as we’re done learning about what we’ve got in our net, we will gently return the animal to its home. The 3 Hr Marine Life Encounter is for up to 6 people, and is great for all ages. On our way there and back to the island, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for playful dolphins and other wildlife including manatees, birds and eagle rays! Captain April will also provide interesting details and fun facts along the way. You will need to exit the boat for this encounter if you want to get up close and personal with the animals, check out the FAQs for additional information. All Encounters have a maximum capacity of 6 people.
